In 2015 TAG Heuer reconnected with the Senna heritage of the late and legendary racing driver Ayrton Senna. This TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 Ayrton Senna Limited Edition is a new result of that. Anyway, the bond between Ayrton Senna and TAG Heuer dates back to 1988 when Senna joined the McLaren Formula 1 team. At the time it was owned by TAG Heuer for 50 percent. Some of you readers might even remember the ‘Don’t crack under pressure’ pay-off with each advertisement. And of course the typical S-links bracelet that Senna made very well known.

Senna is considered by his peers and Formula One fans to be one of the greatest drivers the world has ever seen. He won three world championship titles (1988, 1990 and 1991), had 65 pole positions, and scored 41 Grand Prix victories. Now, thirty years ago when Senna won the legendary Monaco Grand Prix for the very first time. For that reason TAG Heuer launches this limited edition of the Heuer-01.
The imposing 45-millimeter case in black brushed steel with touches of red, houses the skeleton dial and sapphire case back. The limited edition displays the famous stylized red lacquer ‘S’, the exclusive Senna symbol, on the dial and bezel.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 Ayrton Senna Limited Edition comes, of course, with the iconic bracelet with S-shaped links, as adopted by Ayrton at the height of his achievements.
