The Vintage Aircraft Ltd combined 1940s aircraft and New York lofts for some ‘edgy nostalgia’, the Graham Chronofighter Vintage Pulsometer Ltd ‘celebrates the inspirational beat of 1950s Los Angeles jazz’. ‘But it also feels right at home with ‘modern electronic house music’.
Okay… Perhaps a bit all over the place, but these kind of ‘inspirational sentences’ are something you must get used to with some watch brands.
The Graham Chronofighter Vintage Pulsometer Ltd is inspired by all kinds of things but looks great
This new Vintage Pulsometer Ltd with a 44-millimeter diameter has a relative clean dial with small seconds and day-date display. The special feature here is the dial that serves primarily as a mechanical heart rate calculator in combination with the chronograph hand. It can be read against the pulsometer scale around the dial. The dial indicates the frequency per minute avoiding any calculation.
Or as Graham puts it: The mechanical watch is inspired by 1920s medical timepieces. Once again Graham offers yet another ‘inspirational line’. Any suggestions for their next tagline? As you can see, they aren’t too picky.
All kidding aside, if you want to wear a watch that has an impressive presence on your wrist and some serious Swiss credibility, the Graham Chronofighter is worth considering. Just don’t put too much faith in the marketing texts surrounding it.
