The new Silverstone RS Racing 2017 is a truly modern watch with some classic style. The new chronograph is proof that classic looks don’t always mean a lack of functions. In addition to the day and date the Graham Silverstone RS Racing 2017 houses a chronograph and tachymeter.

One piece of trivia to kick off: Graham traces its origins to a London clockmaker George Graham (1673-1751). A man who is considered to be the father of modern watchmaking. He also had a hand in the early origins of the chronograph as he invented the start-stop device.

As the name suggests, the chronograph from Graham has some serious racing influences. Named after the iconic 18-turn racing circuit straddling both the Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire border. Home of the British Grand Prix and countless other motor racing series.

The new Graham Silverstone RS Racing series is dedicated to this speed and intensity. Just look at the rubber tyre tread strap, but especially the dial with its racing colored dials with checkered flag motive. They recall car dashboards and the small seconds at 9 o’clock are reminiscent of braking discs.

The Graham Silverstone RS Racing 2017 comes in three versions. A black/green, blue/black or lightblue/blue combo. The watch comes with a rubber strap, but a metal band is also an option at no additional cost.
