A new sporty-chic model with a two-toned dial, this is the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Panda Dial. It is an extention of the Overseas line of chronographs launched a couple of years ago. You could already buy it with a reverse panda dial, now there is a white-ish / black dial edition too.
The looks of a panda dial go back to motor-sports dedicated timepieces in the 1960s. A white background with black sub dials makes a watch easier to read while driving at high speeds. Vacheron Constantin rolls out this concept with a silver-toned sunburst and satin-finished central dial with a black velvet-finished flange and snailed sub dials. The hands and markers are made of 18k white gold with super-luminova.
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Panda Dial comes with three straps
The case of the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Panda Dial has a diameter of 42.5 millimeters, with a thickness of 13.7 millimeters. All the signature design features of the Overseas line, as the barrel shaped case and Maltese cross-inspired bezel, are present. It is empowered by the in-house calibre 5200 featuring a 22k gold oscillating weight adorned with a compass rose. This automatic column-wheel chronograph has a power reserve of 52 hours.
The watch comes with an interchangeable stainless steel bracelet, a black calfskin leather strap with grey stitching and a black rubber strap.
