Size: 42 mm x 52 mm
The updated Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph with monopusher is still a reincarnation of the 1928 Vacheron Constantin Chronograph. This new one changed a little compared to its limited edition predecessor from 2015 (reference 5300S/000R-B055).
The main change is the dial. The former Harmony Chronograph has a blue central chronograph seconds hand and minutes register, with matching blue Arabic numerals for the time. This new version uses anthracite over blue. Which makes it a bit more conservative. But it still looks great.
The Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph still has ‘signs’ of a medical watch
Unchanged is the graduated scale around the rim of the dial. It was already on the 1928 model – a ‘medical watch’ – and helped doctors to measure their patients pulse based on 30 heartbeats. It is cool VC still uses this ‘feature’ on the new model. Inside the cushion-shaped case is Vacheron Contantin’s caliber 3300 beating at 21,600 vph. The hand-winder offers a power-reserve of approx. 65 hours.
