You might think that this new Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph Small Model is the same as the one without Small Model in its name but it isn’t. Sure, the size differs, but there are more differences.
First there is the case. It measures 37 x 46.6 millimeters while the ‘normal’ one measures 42 mm x 52 millimeters. Then this model comes in two versions. Both with an 18K 5N pink gold case, one with 84 diamonds set on the bezel. It’s obvious that both models can be worn by woman, because of the size. The Small Model has two pushers to operate the chronograph while the standard model is a monopusher.
The Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph Small Model is for men and women
The most important difference is the caliber. Inside the Harmony Chronograph Small Model is Vacheron Constantin’s manual-winding caliber 1142 (which is based on the Lemania 2310). It’s an improved version of an existing movement, now meeting the Hallmark of Geneva criteria. It has a higher frequency to increase the shock resistance of the balance-wheel and provides a power-reserve of 48 hours.
The numerals and hour markers are anthracite black in stead of blue on the former models. The other new models in the Harmony series are:
