The Cosmograph Daytona, launched in 1963, is one of Rolex its icons. In 1965, they introduced the first model with a black bezel from Plexiglas, this Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Oysterflex 2017 Gold is reminiscent of that model.
Inside is Rolex’ calibre 4130 which has been updated by Rolex in 2015 to meet the highest standards in performance. It carries the Superlative Chronometer certification with a precision of the order of -2/+2 seconds per day. Which is more than twice the requirement for an official chronometer.
