The Nomos Ahoi Neomatik 38 Date Sky and Sand give you two new dial colors and a new caliber for this model: the DUW 6101. It is a thin movement powered by a propriety escapement, a swing system to provide more accuracy. The movement also offers to set the date in two directions, making it easy to adjust it quickly.

This movement is also used for the Nomos Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Wempe Signature Collection for instance, showing the date as a colored line on a perforated date track. It also has the Sky dial. That model measures 40.5 millimeters while this Ahoi has a 38.5-millimeter stainless steel case.

The Nomos Ahoi Neomatik 38 Date Sky and Sand comes in two colors: light blue named Sky and a brown-yellow tint named Sand. The off-black typography in typical Nomos style, combined with the silver-white hands (with super-luminova) provide a subtle dial that is very easy to read. The date at 3 o’clock nearly touches the edge of the case, and the orange seconds hand gives some contrast.

You can get the new Ahoi with a steel case back or with a transparent case back. The latter raises the price a little, and both versions can withstand 20 ATM.
