Edox unveils a new member of the Neptunian collection, the Edox Neptunian Grande Reservé Date Automatic. According to Edox the new Neptunian series has emerged from the SkyDiver series (est. 1973) which is still part of Edox’ collection. But this series is a little ‘smoother’, the Neptunian is a bit more rugged.

The Grande Reservé Date Automatic is available in five different colors: black, black with gold, green, blue or light blue. Each model comes on a three-link stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp.

The Edox Neptunian Grande Reservé Date Automatic has a power reserve of 68 hours

The case is 42 millimeters, from stainless steel, and has a large rotating ceramic bezel. The hands and hour markers are filled with super-luminova X1 for better visibility under water, and there is a tiny date window at 3 o’clock. The sapphire crystal is 3 millimeters thick and the watch has an automatic helium escape valve. This, together with the Edox double O’ring system and screw-down crown, makes this Edox Neptunian Grande Reservé Date Automatic a pretty serious diver: it can withstand 30 bar.

Inside this diver is a selfwinding Edox 808 caliber (base La Joux-Perret G100) which delivers a power reserve of 68 hours. The case back is stainless steel and has an engraving of Neptune, the Roman god of water and the sea.
