Tudor Black Bay 41

This Tudor Black Bay 41 is the largest model of the Black Bay 31/36/39/41 series. This series is an interesting addition to the successful Black Bay model line that comes in many variants. These 31/36/39/41 models, referring to their case size, are the most clean ones. Although you can get them with diamonds on the dial (shown above the specs).

There are also 31/36/39/41 S&G models, with a gold/steel combo and even with diamonds. But these new models are all in stainless steel, with a subtle dial with Tudor hands. And all with excellent COSC certified movements.

The stainless steel case is polished, and satin finished, creating a soft appearance. And it matches nicely with the either anthracite, dark-ish blue or light champagne dial. Which makes it a sporty dress watch, or a rather classic everyday model. However, not too classic, although the snowflake hour hand goes back to 1969. The grade A super-luminova on all hands, and the indexes, accentuates the practicality of the model.

The Tudor Black Bay 41 has a power reserve of 70 hours

Inside is Tudor’s in-house caliber MT5601, which is almost identical to the MT5602 in the Tudor Black Bay 39 for instance. It’s only 2 millimeters larger, and features the same specs, including the power reserve of 70 hours. It’s probably a better “fit” within a 41-millimeter case without affecting its quality level.

Like all Black Bay 31/36/39/41 models it comes on a 316L 5-link stainless steel bracelet. Like the case it is polished, has satin finish and uses a “T-fit” folding clasp and safety catch to secure. Compared to the 39-millimeter version the price is just one hundred more, for which you will get 2 millimeters extra.
