With this new Tudor Black Bay 58 18K the sister brand of Rolex is again scaling-up their portfolio of luxury watches. All their new models come with great movements inside, COSC certified, and the materials and designs are further refined.
This new 39-millimeter Black Bay comes in 18-carat yellow gold. The case, bezel and bracelet have been entirely satin-finished for a matt effect. The 60-minute unidirectional rotatable bezel has a matt green anodised aluminium insert. The domed dial is also matt green, and the snowflake hands and applied hour markers are 18-carat yellow gold. Both filled with super-luminova as well.
The Tudor Black Bay 58 18K has a power reserve of 70 hours
The only thing that isn’t gold is the case back, well, and the movement. The case back is sapphire crystal so you can admire the Tudor caliber MT5400. This movement has a non-magnetic silicon balance spring and a power reserve of 70 hours.
The Tudor Black Bay 58 18K comes on a 3-link 18-carat yellow gold bracelet. The T-fit folding clasp is from the same material. And both are completely satin finish, just like the case and bezel, so the overall looks aren’t too shiny. Despite all the gold this Black Bay keeps all its underwater capabilities. And if you want a little less gold, go for the version with brown leather strap (ref. M79018V-0001), which is almost half the price.
