With the Tissot Seastar 1000 40MM it’s all about the case size. As this model has a 40-millimeter case while the model already exists in 36 and 45.5 millimeter. So it is a perfect addition just in between a huge and a rather small version.

This sporty watch is housed in a stainless steel case, with either a black dial with white markers and steel colored hand, a blue dial with the same, or a black dial with gold colored markers and hands. The unidirectional bezel from colored mineral matches with the dial. For sure the hands and markers are coated with luminova, the markers and numerals on the bezel are not.

The Tissot Seastar 1000 40MM has an ETA quartz with a battery-life of 68 months

Inside the watch is an ETA F06.412 with hours, minutes, seconds and date function, and it also shows you the end of life of your battery when the time is there. The F06.412 by the way, is known for its precision and accuracy,  and the case with screw-down crown and case back makes sure the watch can withstand 30 ATM. Which is suitable for serious diving.

The Tissot Seastar 1000 40MM comes on an interchangeable stainless steel bracelet with three links and a double buckle, unless you go for the black-gold version. That one comes on a black rubber strap.
