Together with a new date-only version TAG releases this new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date GMT. So, you will get a GMT complication on top. It’s a so called “caller GMT” or “office GMT” which means the (24-hour) GMT hand can be set independently. A feature to easily set a second time zone to which you have to make a phone call to. Or a time zone you do business with. In other words: a time zone you want to track.

The other way of GMT-ing is the so called “flyer GMT” or “traveler GMT”. Here the local time is leading, so the time you are in when travelling. The GMT hand, with a 24-hour scale, points at your local time and even shows if it’s daytime or nighttime, also by the graduating color of the bezel. Which comes in blue or green for this new Aquaracer GMT. The GMT hand obviously has another shape and color to distinguish it from the regular hour hand.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date GMT has a power reserve of 80 hours

All other characteristics like the dial, hands and date with magnifier are the same as the Date-only version. Inside is a new caliber for this model, the TAG Heuer caliber TH31-03. It is the same caliber as in the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date (TH31-00), but with GMT function. It’s a movement from Manufacture AMT SA, it’s COSC certified and has a power reserve of 80 hours.

The blue TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date GMT either comes on a blue rubber strap or a stainless steel bracelet (+ 200 to 300 in price). The green version is only available with a stainless steel bracelet.
