Five new versions of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date, the sporty TAG that shows a serious level of waterproofness. This new model replaces the “old” Aquaracer with touched-up looks like the minute track and shield shape hour hand. And moreover, a high-end movement.
The case is also adjusted and now has a diameter of 42 millimeters instead of 43. It also gains 0.5 millimeters in thickness and is now 12 millimeters thick. The sunray brushed dial, available in black, blue or green, shows a wavy pattern with a contrasting central seconds hand. The unidirectional dodecagonal bezel with 60-minute scale follows the dial color and has luminescent pointers. And at the 6 o’clock position is the date, visually enlarged by a magnifying lens.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date has a power reserve of 80 hours
This Aquaracer runs on the automatic TAG Heuer caliber TH31-00, a Manufacture AMT SA movement. Which means it comes from a company for high-end and bespoke movements owned by Sellita. It replaces the previous TAG Heuer calibre 5 which is based on the ETA caliber 2824-2. The quality of the TH31-00 is underlined by its COSC certification, the power reserve is an ample 80 hours.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date comes on a rubber strap (except the green one) or a stainless steel bracelet. If you like the model on a steel bracelet add about 200 to 300 to the price. And for about 400 to 500 more you can get the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date GMT. Same movement, with an extra 24-hour hand.
