One of the few lifestyle brands that makes serious watches launches the Ralph Lauren Safari Chronometer 42 mm. Which is nearly 43 millimeters. The concept is not new, as they earlier released 39-millimeter and a 45-millimeter Safari models. All with the same design, materials and movement.
So, for the dials you can choose from a black, camo or khaki color. The 42.6-millimeter case is from stainless steel that looks aged, so it’s black. Same for the bezel and case back. The dial has, depending of the dial color, beige or black printed numerals. The sword-shaped hands for the hours and minutes are also black with either black or beige super-luminova. The batton seconds hand is orange.
The Ralph Lauren Safari Chronometer 42 mm offers a power reserve of 50 hours
For the movement RL uses the automatic Ralph Lauren caliber RL300-1. A chronometer so it is COSC certified. This movement is based on the proven Sellita SW300-1 which is used by many renowned brands. The power reserve is 50 hours.
For the straps you can choose from an interchangeable brown leather Bund strap, or an olive green canvas strap. If you want steel go for the 3-link black aged steel bracelet.
