Basically it is a countdown function. Use the pushers on the side to adjust the gold minute hand with steps of one or five minutes to measure a certain time. When that time is reached, the minute hands will overlap and stay overlapped.

It’s a function that kind of replaces the a rotating bezel with minute scale. And although it is not a diver’s watch, it still can go 60 meters deep. So you can use the minute rattrapante function for some (light) under water activities as well. The watch is executed in a 40-millimeter stainless steel case displaying a sand grey dial with hand-guilloché Grain d’Orge layout. And a knurled bezel in platinum.
