The Louis Moinet Savanna Tourbillon comes as a series of unique time pieces. There are six versions, so far, that feature micro-paintings on a jigsaw puzzle style dial – we have seen that before from Rolex. But here the micro-paintings depict animals that you usually see in the wilderness, the savanna, a flat grassy plain. Each watch, all launched this year, is just one unique piece.

Each dial is crafted from 81 pieces of puzzle, so far displaying six typical animals of the Savanna. The tiger, leopard, elephant, lion, panda and cobra. Perhaps more will follow. And each dial is painted by hand, and apart from the art work there is nothing on the dial. Only two rose gold hands, it’s still a watch. Oh, and a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock – another masterpiece that makes these timepieces so special.

The Louis Moinet Savanna Tourbillon has a power reserve of 96 hours

The hand-wound Louis Moinet caliber LM135 is mounted in a 40.7-millimeter rose gold case. The flying tourbillon provides the watch with more accuracy and the movement has a power reserve of 96 hours.

The Louis Moinet Savanna Tourbillon comes on a black leather strap. With green stiches for the panda and cobra versions. Which are still for sale today, as some of the other variants are already sold.
