The Panerai Submersible Luna Rossa is another model to underline the brand’s partnership with the Italian sailboat racing team Luna Rossa. In fact, Panerai is the official sponsor of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team since 2019. Which already lead to a couple of models, like this Panerai Luminor Quaranta Steel DLC Luna Rossa. But the “Red Moon” theme suits the Submersible as well.

This Submersible diver is from stainless steel measuring 42 millimeters, and of course it has the recognizable crown protector. It has a blue sun-brushed dial paired with a striking small seconds hand in red, reflecting Luna Rossa’s hues. The hour and minute hands are partly skeletonized and have luminescent material, just like the hour markers. At the 3 o’clock position is a small date aperture. For diving it has a steel ceramic anti-clockwise rotating bezel with graduated scale, and a water resistance of 300 meters / 1,000 feet.

At the heart of the PAM01565 beats the automatic Panerai caliber P.900, their renewed time-date movement with an Incabloc anti-shock device. It has 171 components and a more than sufficient power reserve of 72 hours. The case back is screwed and from stainless steel.

Lastly, the Panerai Submersible Luna Rossa comes on a caoutchouc accordeon dark blue strap with red lining. And you will get an additional strap as well. The watch is limited to 300 pieces.
