In collaboration with the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team, Panerai presents the Panerai Luminor Quaranta Steel DLC Luna Rossa. It all started in 2017 when the brand becomes the timekeeper and the main sponsor of the Italian team competing in the America’s Cup World Series. Which is a cup of sailing boats. The Tudor Pelagos FXD Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition is also an example of a watch related to that racing cup.
This Panerai has a 40-millimeter stainless steel case with a DLC coating, giving it a strong black color effect. DLC stand for Diamond Like Coating, which creates this dark effect. It features a sunray blue dial with a seconds counter with a red hand at 9 o’clock This echoes the color theme of the Luna Rossa team.
The Panerai Luminor Quaranta Steel DLC Luna Rossa has a power reserve of 72 hours
Inside is an automatic Panerai caliber P.900 delivering a power reserve of three days. It is equipped with an Incabloc anti-shock device, a shock-absorber system designed to protect balance-staffs.
The Steel DLC Luna Rossa comes on a bi-material blue rubber strap with PAM click release system buckle. And you will get an additional bi-material black rubber strap as well.
