The Casio G-Shock Rangeman GPR-H1000 is the newest model of the G-shock Rangeman collection. For now it comes in two versions: a full black one or a yellow one. The watch is an extended version of the bestselling triple sensor-equipped Rangeman GW-9400 which was launched in 2013. It is part of the Master of G series, a professional level of G-Shock timepieces designed for challenging situations like trekking and survival activities, especially with its build-in GPS and heart rate monitor function.

The case of the GPR-H1000 is made of bio-based resins measuring 60.6 × 53.2 millimeters, with a thickness of 20.3 millimeters. Which is big. In fact, it is one of the biggest G-Shocks you can have. But it only weights 29 grams and offers a water resistance up to 200 meters / 660 feet. The features of this new Rangeman are almost endless, check the specifications below (and this is only a recap of the specs).

Main functions of the Rangeman GPR-H1000

Behind the mineral glass is a high-brightness full-auto LED backlight screen showing the most essential information. Which you can adjust of course. The main functions for this model focus on the heart rate monitor and GPS connection, for position information and time information.

They empty the battery in about 14 hours, but when switched off the battery lasts for about 2 months. And 23 months if you switch on the power save mode. The main time is charged by solar power, the other functions rely on the internal battery that can be USB-charged.

The quartz movement inside is shock and mud resistant and connects with your mobile phone via Bluetooth. This offers a lot of extra functions like mail, notifications, agenda and more. The case and buttons to operate all the functions are well protected. It has forged metal button guards and sensor covers. The buttons are also protected by cylindrical stainless-steel parts, and the button shafts are equipped with gasket fittings. Which makes it easy to withstand mud, dust, and water. All in all it offers anything you might ever want when it comes to durability, practicality and protection.

The Casio G-Shock Rangeman GPR-H1000 comes on a soft urethane band with a non-slip texture. The color is the same as the case.
