Casio presents another G-shock version, the Casio G-Shock Mudman GW-9500. Solid and accurate, this model belongs to the Professional G level of G-shocks intended for tough and difficult tasks. Thanks to the features this timepiece has with triple-sensor capability paired with a robust mud-resistant construction. Introduced in a case with black, green and red colors.

The case, bezel and band are made from bio-based resins. It is an eco-friendly material mainly from plant matter and other renewable organic substances. It measures 56.7 × 52.7 millimeters, with a thickness of 14.8 millimeters. With a weight of 81 grams, it is also one of the heaviest G-shocks. And just like most of the other G-shock watches, it has a water resistance of 200 meters / 660 feet.

At the rear of the mineral glass is a dual-layer LCD which permits the compass graphics to be viewed at the edge. While the center dial renders a huge feature of the main reading of the time and multiple measurements. It has a front button with three side sensor buttons of which the cylinder-shaped stainless steel components protects it, the reason why water and mud have no chance to get into the watch.

It is driven by a Casio quartz (caliber 3553) movement delivering a battery life of 6 months on a rechargeable battery. This is the operation period with normal use without exposure to light after a full charge. 26 months is also possible with the rechargeable battery. This when it is stored in total darkness with the power save function on after a full charge.
