Luminor Due is Panerai’s new Luminor collection and the Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic is one of the two new models. The other one is the ‘basic’ model, with another case size and another caliber. You can read about that model and the Luminor Due background here.

The movement of the Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic in Oro rosse is skeletonized

h2-line
The ‘basic’ Luminor 3 Days has a 42-millimeter case. This model’s case is 45 millimeters. The Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic is available as Acciaio with a AISI 316L polished steel case. And there is the Oro rosso with a polished red gold case. This Automatic is just 10.7 millimeter thick, only 0.2 millimeter thicker than the basic model. Which is the thinnest ever created by Panerai. Like the basic model, this case also has the classic bridge device with sealing lever to protect the winding crown. And every component has a polished finish. The sapphire crystal reveals the classic minimalist Panerai dial with sandwich construction.

While the Luminor Due 3 Days is powered by Panerai’s hand-wound P.1000 caliber, this one gets his power from Panerai’s P.4000. The P.4000 has a micro-rotor mounted off-centre, a solution enabling the thickness of the movement to be substantially reduced. It also beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a three-day power-reserve. The red gold version’s movement is embellished with a skeletonized three-quarter plate to have a view on Panerai’s skeletonized caliber P.4000/10.
