Panerai reveals a new Luminor collection: the Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days. At this moment there are two models. First the ‘basic’ Luminor 3 Days with a 42-millimeter case. The other model is the Luminor 3 Days Automatic with a 45-millimeter case.

The Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days has the thinnest movement Panerai ever created

h2-line
The Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days is available as Acciaio with a AISI 316L polished steel case. And there is the Oro rosso with a polished red gold case. ‘Due’ indicates that this new Luminor collection has entered a new era. The main difference between the current Luminor line and the Luminor Due is the thickness of the case, which is up to 40 percent slimmer. The basic model is just 10.5 millimeter thick, the thinnest ever created by Panerai. The case has the classic bridge device with sealing lever to protect the winding crown. Every component has a polished finish. The sapphire crystal reveals the classic minimalist Panerai dial with sandwich construction.

Normally we would have written just one review of the new Luminor Due. The basic model however has another caliber. Well, and it looks very good, so why not two posts? The Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days is powered by the in-house developed and manufactured P.1000 hand-wound movement. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a three-day power-reserve. The movement in the red gold version is embellished with a skeletonized three-quarter plate. Which in fact is Panerai’s caliber P.1000/10, a skeletonized version of the P.1000.

Do you rather want to have the 45-millimeter version? Then read the review about the Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic.
