In 2014 Maurice Lacroix launched their Masterpiece Gravity model. This Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Gravity Blue is the fifth model in the collection, this time featuring blue sub-dials on a silver background.
The main attraction of the Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Gravity Blue is the oscillator and assortment center stage on the dial side. You can see the oscillator beating and pallet lever moving. The dial shows the time on an off-center blue lacquered sub-dial at the 2 o’clock position. At the 5 o’clock position is a small sub-dial showing the seconds.

Inside the 43-millimeter steel case there is Maurice Lacroix’ caliber ML230 with ‘external’ oscillator. It offers a power-reserve of 50 hours and it is decorated with “Vagues du Jura”, a decoration on the main bridge of the movement. Other parts have sandblasted and brushed finishing and the bridges are from rhodium with diamond-cut edges.
Compared to the other four models, which are either white on silver or black on anthracite and some of them with a darker case color, this one is a little more sparkling. Although that is a matter of taste.
