A new Frederique Constant Slimline Perpetual Calendar Manufacture Designed by Peter Speake, nearly a year after their first collaboration. Because in 2022 Peter Speak, also known as the Naked Watchmaker as he likes to skeletonize his watches, and FC released a perpetual calendar for just under 10k. That model, the Naked Watchmaker x Frederique Constant Slimline Perpetual Calendar Manufacture with reference FC-775TNW4S6, was executed in brown with blue highlights. This new model is executed in black with grey highlights. And it is not just under 10k anymore.

The new model has a stainless steel with matt black DLC coating and measures 42 millimeters in diameter, with a thickness of 11.3 millimeters. The skeletonized dial with a perpetual calendar complication, separated in three counters in a diagonal pattern. The forth counter at the 6 o‘clock position shows the moon phase. Whether a month has 30 days or 31 does not matter as the movement will adjust that automatically. Same for the days in February when it is a leap year.

The movement is the Frederique Constant caliber FC-775 which is used in many other perpetual calendar models from the brand. Also in the one by Peter Speak from last year. Parts of the caliber is visible at the back of the watch. The power reserve shows it is not the newest movement anymore, but the 38 hours are sufficient. For a watch with this complication.

The Frederique Constant Slimline Perpetual Calendar Manufacture Designed by Peter Speake comes on a black textile strap. This has white stitching and a folding buckle. And the model is limited to 35 pieces as it commemorates the 35^th birthday of Frederique Constant. (Who is not an actual person.) The former brown model was limited to 99 pieces by the way.
