The latest Zenith Chronomaster Original Black Tricolor joins the Chronomaster Original collection. It is a design influenced by the 1969 Zenith El Primero Chronograph with reference A386. It still features the iconic tricolor counter, now with a black dial.

Executed in a 38 millimeter stainless steel case, the newest Chronomaster Original has the same dimension as the original A386. The tricolor counters are divided in light grey for the small seconds, dark grey for the 60-minute counter and blue for the 60-second counter. There is a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. The black dial leads to some changes in relation to the original dial. The date wheel, the 1/10^th of a second and the 10-second chronograph scale are all inverted. The result is still an easy to read chronograph.

The Zenith Chronomaster Original Black Tricolor has a power reserve of 60 hours

The automatic Zenith caliber El Primero 3600 is the latest version of the El Primero caliber and drives this time piece. The case back is transparent so you can admire the back of the caliber. It beats at a high 36,000 vph in order indicate 1/10^th of second. The power reserve is 60 hours.

The Zenith Chronomaster Original Black Tricolor comes either on a metal bracelet or on a black leather strap. The first is 500 Swiss francs more expensive.
