The Frederique Constant Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture is updated, and combines a moon phase complication with a round-date indicator on one sub dial. It has a new case design and inside ticks a new caliber with extended power reserve.
The new case measures 40 millimeters in diameter and is crafted from stainless steel. It displays a green, blue or silver sunray dial with a moon phase aperture at 6 o’clock. This is combined with a date-indication by hand. The hands and indexes are silver colored, and there is a subtle minute track around the dial. To avoid confusion between the 31st and 1st of each month, the “31” is printed in red.
The Frederique Constant Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture has a power reserve of 72 hours
The new automatic Frederique Constant caliber FC-716 runs the watch, a new in-house movement. It is based on the FC-715 with an improved barrel so that the power reserve has gone up to 72 hours. The entire mechanism, along with its golden rotor and Côtes de Genève decorations, is visible through the transparent case back.
The new Frederique Constant Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture models come on an alligator leather strap. Navy blue for the blue and silver versions and green for the green version, secured with a folding buckle.
