The F.P. Journe Élégante Gino’s Dream celebrates the 10^th anniversary of the Élégante and commemorates an important person in the history of the brand. That is Serge Cukrowicz, known to many as Gino. He was a very dear friend of Francois-Paul Journe and co-founder of Montres Journe SA. This Élégante is set with 52 baguette-cut stones in rainbow hues to reflect the flamboyant character of Gino.

Serge Cukrowicz, Gino, was born on June 20, 1959, and the son of Sammy Cukrowicz, a famous diamond dealer. He had an extravagant and colorful dressing style, was a very lively person, and full of passion. In 1990 the friendship between Francois-Paul Journe and Gino starts, leading to their later partnership. Gino died on May 6, 2021. And this sparkling F.P. Journe Élégante Gino’s Dream is dedicated to him, inspired by his energetic personality.

The F.P. Journe Élégante Gino’s Dream has a power reserve of at least 8 years

Available in a 48 x 40 millimeter titanium flat tortue case, this new Élégante comes in two variants. Either with a luminous white center dial or a black center dial. It is then enhanced with 52 baguette-cut stones on the bezel, in many colors. And the watch has a yellow or orange rubber strap.

The F.P. Journe Élégante Gino’s Dream is powered by the caliber 1210 quartz movement. If saves power as after 35 minutes of immobility, the watch goes into sleep mode. As soon as it is moving again, thanks to the motion detector at 4:30, it resets to the exact time by the shortest path, clockwise or anti-clockwise. This provides an autonomy of 8 to 10 years in normal use and up to 18 years in standby mode.
