Another Freak model from UN, this time for Only Watch: the Ulysse Nardin Freak S Only Watch 2023. It is a unique piece with roots to the Freak S that was released in 2022 and follows the design of the Freak series. Which means: no dial, no hands and no crown.

To read the time, just follow the kind of U-shaped white pointer (on the photos at 10 o‘clock) which is on a disc that makes a full turn every 12 hours. For the minutes follow the large pointer that is mounted to the movement – at 2 o’clock on the photos. This is connected to a bridge-like gear construction that completely turns the whole movement every hour in one minute steps. So, the movement is literally a movement.

The Ulysse Nardin Freak S Only Watch 2023 has a power reserve of 72 hours

It is crafted in a 45-millimeter case made from multiple materials like black ceramic, titanium and rose gold. The hour disc is engraved with a black sunray pattern. To set the time or wind the watch use the rotating bezel in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

The Ulysse Nardin Freak S is equipped with an automatic UN-251 caliber which delivers a power reserve of 72 hours. The movement is decorated with the (rainbow) colors of the Only Watch 2023 theme, the strap is blue rubber.
