The T-Classic line of Tissot is updated with three new color / strap setups for the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 in 40 millimeters. The model still has links with the first PRX from 1978, with a 2023 modern twist. The new colors are dark blue on a black rubber strap, ice blue with a steel bracelet and black on a black rubber strap.
These stainless steel versions all have an embossed chequered pattern on the dial. This gives it some depth and changing appeal under different circumstances of light. The hands and markers are coated with super-luminova.
The Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 has the well known ETA based Powermatic 80.811 caliber
The Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 is equipped with the automatic Powermatic 80.811 caliber which delivers a power reserve of 80 hours. It has a nivachron balance spring that replaces the silicon version that was formerly used in the ETA based 80.811. The new spring delivers more accuracy when exposed to magnetic fields and changing temperatures.
The PRX line also offers 35-millimeter models, quartz models and chronographs.
