With the Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 41.5 Platinum Celestial Blue the Perpetual Moon series gets another variant. This time the dial features a stellar rays décor with celestial blue PVD treatment. The moon phase window and the depicted moon are highly detailed and treated with super-luminova for a sparkling effect in the dark.

This latest moon phase complication is crafted in a 41.5-millimeter platinum 950 case. The large white mother-of-pearl moon with hand painted shadows and coated with super luminova is the eye-catcher. It is positioned at the upper half of the dial on a midnight blue PVD treated background. And that is encircled by the Big Dipper and Cassiopeia heavenly bodies. These are also hand-painted and coated with super-luminova.

The reason why these constellations are chosen connects to John Arnold’s history as a manufacturer of naval chronometers: these constellations have been used as points of reference during the old ages.
