Do you like vintage? Take a look at this Oris Divers Sixty-Five Green Edition. It is a direct descendent of one of Oris’s first diver’s watches, introduced in 1965. Oris has updated the look of the original version, retaining a number of retro details. Including its slim line case, the thin bezel with 60-minute scale, and the trapezoid date window.

The model from the 1960s had a chromium-plated brass case (40 millimeters) and plexiglas crystal. This Oris Divers Sixty-Five Green Edition has a larger case (42 millimeters) in corrosion-resistant stainless steel. And it has scratch-resistant, non-reflective sapphire crystal with a bubble-curved shape. The classic one had a bidirectional rotating bezel while this one has a unidirectional bezel. The hands and indices used to be filled with tritium on the original model, this model has a type of super-luminova called Light Old Radium. A beige glow that contrasts clearly with the green dial – which becomes black deep under water.
Inside is Oris’s automatic Caliber 733, which is based on a Sellita SW200-1. It has a power-reserve of 38 hours. This new version comes with four different straps (the old one was only available with a rubber strap. Vintage leather (which is the best looking one in our opinion), stainless steel, green/black textile NATO and rubber. Which is still the best for diving.
