Speedmaster fans open their app on Tuesdays in order to see new photos of yet another the Omega Speedmaster. The Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday Limited Edition with leather and NATO strap, and the Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project III
The design of this chronograph is based on the 1978 Speedmaster Alaska Project III. Omega developed that model especially for NASA. Easy to read, even in the dark. It has a black dial with black subdials, this new Speedy Tuesday has a reversed Panda dial. Black background, white subdials. In fact, luminescent radial subdials, which is really good looking in the dark.

The Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday Limited Edition features the classic manually wound mechanical Omega caliber 1861. A movement used in the famous Speedmaster Moonwatch and based on the Lemania 1873. Furthermore, a brushed finish stainless steel case (42 millimeters), a classic black tachymeter scale and the Speedmaster’s iconic Seahorse medallion engraved on the case back. Which also has “SPEEDY TUESDAY ANNIVERSARY – A TRIBUTE TO ALASKA PROJECT III” on it and its unique number. Surprisingly no steel bracelet. Old-looking leather or NATO’s are more vintage. It’s limited to 2,012 pieces and only online available in Omega’s webshop.
The watch comes with a special leather watch roll containing a spare NATO strap with engraved buckle as well as a strap-changing tool. #JustCool.
