The Nivada Grenchen Antarctic Diver is just what a vintage looking diver should be. The right size, the right colors and not too much farfetched vintage stuff. It’s just one model, but you can choose between 10 different straps and bracelets.

This diver has a 38-millimeter 316L stainless steel case. On top is a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black ceramic insert. The numerals and indexes of the bezel are filled with luminova. The dial has a black texture with cream latte hands and markers filled with luminova. The cream color gives the model a nice vintage touch, as if it comes directly from the 1950s. Which is strengthened by the domed sapphire and the cyclops for reading the date.

Inside the Nivada Grenchen Antarctic Diver is an automatic Soprod movement, type P024 with a date. It’s an entry-level alternative for Sellita and ETA with the same quality (it is based on the ETA 2824-2), delivering a power reserve of 38 hours.

For sure you can dive with the Antarctic Diver: it has a screw-down crown and steel screwed case back in order to withstand 20 bar of pressure. And to connect with the Antarctic there is a pinguin engraved on the case back.
