Maurice Lacroix manages to convert 17 plastic bottles into this Maurice Lacroix Aikon #Tide Mahindra. Which makes it a very eco-friendly watch. Add the partnership with Mahindra to that, a racing team in the Formula E – which is all electric – and you will get a very green watch that is very red. And it joins the Aikon #Tide series which is already a very colorful one.
The plastics used are recycled ocean plastics, and with that Maurice Lacroix creates a 40-millimeter plastic case and a plastic bezel. The black dial features the Mahindra Team logo as a pattern, we are not sure if the dial is plastic too. And the watch is red because that’s the Mahindra Team color.

Inside the Maurice Lacroix Aikon #Tide Mahindra is a quartz movement – which one is unknown. But it does show you the time, has a large seconds hand and a date windows at the 3 o’clock position.
The watch comes with two straps, both rubber: a red one and a black one. The pin buckle is made from plastic and ML’s Easy Strap Exchange system makes it a piece of cake to change the straps.
