The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine is the result of a collaboration with Alpine Motorsports. It is the first partnership with this brand that competes in the Formula One and other endurance races. So, the design of the watch is inspired by race cars, with blue color tones, the Alpine race color. The model is limited to 100 pieces only.

The watch has a skeletonized main dial, the entire mechanism along with its bridges and gears is visible. On the main dial is a small domed dial in bright blue synthetic spinel showing the time, at the 12 o’clock position.

Tourbillon combined with 18th century techniques

At the 6 o’clock position is a one-minute flying tourbillon fitted with a cylindrical hairspring. It is developed by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company, Precision Engineering AG. They took the challenge to re-create an 18th century invention, a cylindrical hairspring that rises perpendicularly around the upper stem of the balance spindle, into a modernized solution.

The purpose of doing this, especially in combination with a tourbillon, is to reduce the friction of the pivots, which improves the isochronism properties. A technically advanced way to improve accuracy. It’s all packed in a cushion-shaped steel case that measures 42.3 millimeters.

The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine has a power reserve of 74 hours

At the heart of the watch, revealed on the front and back, is the automatic three-dimensional H. Moser & Cie. caliber HMC 811. The main plate and bridges have anthracite finish, the gold oscillating weight is also skeletonized. The power reserve is 74 hours.

The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine comes on a blue rubber strap. And this is secured with a steel folding clasp, engraved with the Moser logo.
