The Glashütte Original Senator Chronometer Silver-Blue is the latest member of the Senator Chronometer family. The brand originally launched the model in 2009 and it was either available in a rose gold / white combo or white gold / blue. Now, the slightly revised version of the newest Senator Chronometer is accessible in a white gold case, with a silver dial that also has some blue tones.

This new Senator’s case measures 42 millimeters, with a thickness of 11.40 millimeters. The layout of the dial is the classic and typical format of a pocket chronometer, with Roman numerals as hour markers. These are executed in solid gold with a blue coating. The power reserve indicator is in chronometer style, large and therefor accurate. There is a tiny day/night indication inside the power indicator. Then there is a panorama date at 3 o’clock, while the largest sub dial is at 6 o’clock showing the small seconds.

To complete the Glashütte Original Senator Chronometer Silver-Blue it comes on a dark blue Louisiana alligator leather strap. And this is secured with a white gold fold over clasp.
