The Dubois et Fils DBF008 series gets some new dial colors. Which brings the total of different colors to choose from to 15. This is including different cases as well. As you can get them in steel, steel with gold plated or steel with DLC coating. Furthermore, they are all 39 millimeters. And each model is limited to either 11, 22 or 33 pieces.

There are two things about this classic looking dress watch that makes it special. The movement and the way you set the date. Let’s start with the movement. If you know Dubois et Fils a bit then you might know they use old movements for a couple of their models. For the Dubois et Fils DBF008 they use the Adolf Schild caliber AS-1985 from the 1960s. The movement is completely revised and serviced, and comes from a new old stock. So it runs just as smooth as a brand new one. With a power reserve of 42 hours.

Then the date. Normally you set the date by pulling out the crown in its first position. However, Dubois changed this to a date setting with a pusher. That pusher is integrated in the crown and the construction is able to withstand water. Sure, they could have kept the original date set method, but this one adds some extra spice to the time piece.
