The Christiaan van der Klaauw Ariadne 2023 comes in three new versions which revives the classic Ariadne. The model is one of the most affordable mechanical chronograph / calendar / moon phase complications on the market.
These three new versions are housed in a 40-millimeter stainless steel case. The looks are sporty and classic at the same time, also due to the new colors. These more contrasting dial colors enrich the readability of the dial, which is full of information. There are four sub dials although the one on the right has no function other than displaying the brand’s logo. The outer ring of the dial tells the date, indicated by a hand. The top sub dial shows the 30-minute counter of the chronograph as well as the day and month. The sub dial on the left shows a 24-hour indication as well as small running seconds, and the dial at 6 o’clock is the 30-minute counter of the chronograph as well as the moon phase indication.
The Christiaan van der Klaauw Ariadne 2023 offers a power reserve of 48 hours
Flip the Christiaan van der Klaauw Ariadne 2023 and the automatic caliber CVDK7758 is shown. There you will also be able to admire the unique hand-engraved claw-shaped rose gold-plated rotor. The engraving on the rotor is made by the German engraver Jochen Benzinger, a world-wide authority known for his hand-guilloche, engraved and skeletonized watches and movements.
These new Christiaan van der Klaauw Ariadnes come on a matching brown, black or blue alligator strap with stainless steel folding clasp.
