The Bell & Ross BR-X1 is not a new watch by any means. The chronograph was launched three years ago. This new limited edition, the Bell & Ross BR-X1 Black Titanium, presents some new colors and materials in the mix.
This Bell & Ross BR-X1 Black Titanium is made of titanium and ceramic with rubber inserts. A rather stealthy look with a subtle color scheme, but definitely still pretty out there. It is no denying the watch is a part of the brand’s Instruments Collection. Which is still Bell & Ross most iconic – aviation inspired – collection. With the shape for which they are famous. A series that currently is comprised of 17 different models. Including this Bell & Ross BR-X1 RS17 to celebrate the partnership between Bell & Ross and the Renault Formula One team.
The Bell & Ross BR-X1 Black Titanium is limited to 250 pieces
The Bell & Ross BR-X1 houses the ETA based BR.CAL.313 movement with a power-reserve of 42 hours. An automatic workhorse with date and chronograph. According to Bell & Ross the watch is an extreme variation of their BR 03 model, here with an open-worked dial. The grey-tinted sapphire crystal dial shows the skeleton mechanism of the chronograph.
Because of its skeletonized nature, this is not one of the most legible chronographs, but it looks pretty cool and that must be worth something, right?
The aesthetic of the Bell & Ross BR-X1 Black Titanium is one for the diehard Bell & Ross fans, because you will get noticed with this 45-millimeter watch around your wrist.
