If you want something shiny the Zenith Defy Extreme Mirror might be an option. Perhaps it’s also great for the more vain readers here. The Swiss brand calls mirroring camouflage, with a monochromatic timepiece that bounces back all the brilliances yet remains kind of plain and simple.

The striking part is the mirror tinted sapphire on the dial side, crafted in polished stainless steel. The dial is also partly open-worked to admire a bit of the tech behind it. The case measures 45 millimeters, so it’s not very subtle however the translucent and reflective effects calm down the design. The chronograph has silver-colored sub counters, and there is a shiny chronograph power reserve indication at 12 o’clock.

The Zenith Defy Extreme Mirror has a power reserve of 50 hours, the chronograph does 50 minutes

The high-speed runner inside is the automatic Zenith caliber El Primero 9004, with a star-shaped winding rotor in silvery-grey metallic tones. It drives a 1/100th of a second chronograph operating at 5 Hz for the timekeeping part and 50 Hz for the chronograph function. At these frequences the chronograph slurps much energy so the power reserve for the chronograph alone is 50 minutes. That’s why it has its own power indicator. The power reserve of the running time is 50 hours.

The Zenith Defy Extreme Mirror comes on a polished stainless steel bracelet. And you will get an extra durable black Velcro strap plus a black rubber strap. All equipped with an interchangeable strap system for easy swapping.
