The Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime Ref. 6300GR-001 is today’s most complicated wristwatch the brand has ever produced
Grande sonnerie
Grande sonnerie is French for ‘big strike’. It is a watch complication that combines a quarter striking mechanism with a repeater. So it strikes the time in hours and quarters each quarter, and on demand (repeater function). A petite sonnerie does not have a repeater function.
