The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Full Gold comes in two new variants. One with the case and bezel in solid 18k 5N rose gold, and the other in solid 18k 3N yellow gold. Yes, they are shiny, but the colored dials cut-off some of that. As the rose gold version comes with a black-fading-to-grey dial and the yellow gold has a bright blue dial.

To keep the watches a little light in weight, both come with a black DLC-coated Grade 2 titanium case back with sapphire. And both have a steel screw-down crown with black DLC-coating, which saves the use of gold. The black crown detonates a bit with the blue dial version, by the way. The matching rubber strap saves weight too.

Is the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Full Gold still a good diver?

For the movement TAG Heuer teams-up with AMT, a Swiss movement producer. Together they developed the TAG Heuer caliber TH31-00, an automatic with time and date, supplying a sufficient 80 hours of power reserve. It has a chronometer certification and TAG is so convinced of the quality that you will get five years of warranty.

This certification also ensures you that the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Full Gold is still a good diver. Regular diving shouldn’t be any problem, the unidirectional turning bezel will help you. But if you are in for some serious diving stuff, you better switch to the TAG Professional 300 series. And the real pro’s go for the Professional 1000 series. Both not available in gold.
