Although the hype is a little over, the Omega x Swatch Bioceramic Moonswatch Mission to the Moonphase adds a new chapter to the collaboration between Swatch and Omega. As the standard Omega x Swatch Bioceramic Moonswatch offers a chronograph with three sub dials, this new one comes with a chronograph and a moon phase.

It is still from bioceramic, a variant of plastic, and 42 millimeters in diameter, however, it is slightly thicker. As in 0.55 millimeters, so you probably won’t notice that when wearing it. The watch itself is full white, with black accents. The new feature is the moon phase at the 2 o’clock position, with Snoopy included. As NASA rewarded their partners with a Silver Snoopy Award back in the days Omega sponsored astronauts with watches.

A little Snoopy joke appears when you put the watch in the dark. On the moon phase indication, a text appears: “I can’t sleep without a night light!”. The serious part is that the lunar cycle can be followed with quartz accuracy. As inside there is a quartz movement, probably an ETA variant with moon phase.
