The Ressence Type 3 EE Eucalyptus is another oil-filled watch by the Belgium brand that makes time pieces in a rather unusual way. A Ressence with oil was introduced in 2013, now this is an upgraded version that features a new dial layout and a pastel tone.
Like its predecessors, the Type 3 EE stands out with a case size of 44 millimeters which makes it easy to read all the indications on the dial. It displays the time, day, date, the oil temperature and counts 180 seconds in one round. It is crownless and setting the time and day/date can be done by turning the case back. The domed edge-to-edge sapphire crystal on its front and back creates splash-resistance of 10 meters.
Inside the Ressence Type 3 EE Eucalyptus is an automatic ROCS 3 movement (Ressence Orbital Convex System) which is driven by a customized ETA 2824/2 caliber. It delivers a power reserve of 36 hours.
