The Louis Erard Le Chronographe Monopoussoir x Massena Lab is the result of the second partnership between the independent Swiss watchmaker and creative horological studio. The latter is owned by watch collector and industry veteran William Massena and his company designs, develops, and produces time pieces. Often in collaboration with watchmakers from around the world. This Angelus Chronographe Medical x Massena Lab is another example of that.

This new Louis Erard model comes in two variants: one with a silver colored dial and one with a gilded dial. Both dressed in a 43-millimeter stainless steel case with a Massena LAB signature crown on the side and domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the front and back. The case back is engraved with “Limited Edition 1 of 178” from which 78 in silver color and 100 in gold color.

The model with silver colored dial has a rhodium-plated lower plate and the gold version has a 2N gilded lower plate. Both with grained finish and silver opaline counter center for the 30-minute counter. And both with a rhodium-plated outer flange and counter with circular satin-finish and diamond-cut corners.

Inside the Louis Erard Le Chronographe Monopoussoir x Massena Lab is an automatic Sellita SW500MPCa which delivers a power reserve of 48 hours. But more important, it is a monopusher chronograph – the pusher is integrated in the crown. The 30-minute totalizer on the sub dial is at the 12 o’clock position. The chronograph seconds hand is in the center.

Both watches come on a black calf leather strap with stainless steel buckle.
