The new Lederer Central Impulse Chronometer InVerto is a limited edition added to the Central Impulse Chronometer collection. It features a skeletonized dial of which the entire caliber is fully visible on the face of the watch. It is the first time for this line, as with the other versions the movement is only visible before on the case back. The result is a stunning view on the bits and bytes of this mechanical masterpiece.
The design is inspired by the Lederer Central Impulse Chronometer ref. CIC 9018, a unique piece for Only Watch 2023. This one has a fully open-worked dial with colorful accents to match the Only Watch color theme. Now, this Central Impulse Chronometer InVerto has a more industrial look, with metal colors and DLC. As it’s 44-millimeter case of steel with black DLC. All forming a “monochromatic composition” as brand calls it. The hour markers are engraved on the inside of the sapphire dome. The seconds, needed to achieve a COSC certification, are at the transparent back of the watch.
The Lederer Central Impulse Chronometer InVerto has a power reserve of 42 hours
Inside is the hand-wound Lederer caliber CIC 9018 delivering a power reserve of 42 hours. Thanks to two independent barrels. And also two independent gear trains, two constant-force remontoires and two independent escapement wheels. In short, this provides a constant power for more precision. And when all the tech can be seen, it goes without saying that the finish is at a high level. With frosted and hand-beveled bridges, and wheels with circular graining and hand-beveled spokes. The stone settings are hand-polished as well, and mirror-polishing is applied on the steel components.
The Lederer Central Impulse Chronometer InVerto comes on a black leather strap, saddle-stitched by hand. The watch is limited to 18 pieces only.
