Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils an addition to the Master Ultra-thin collection, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra-Thin Moon Pink Gold. The Master Ultra Thin Moon was originally revealed in 2011 and has several variants, like a perpetual calendar, a tourbillon, moon phase and more. All with cases of stainless steel or pink gold. This new version comes in pink gold with a deep blue dial.
It is the second model within the line-up with a blue dial, as there is also a stainless steel Moon. However, that model has a petroleum blue dial, the dial of the new version is midnight blue. The case has a dress watch size of 39 millimeters. The midnight blue dial has a sunray-brushed pattern, matching subtly with the pink gold applied hour markers with long, tapered triangles design. This shape also comes back with the dauphine hour and minute hands. The minute track has golden dots.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon Pink Gold has a power reserve of 70 hours
The moon phase at the 6 o‘clock position also has a round-date indicator and a mirror-polished moon with stars on a blue background. Inside is an automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 925 which can be admired through its sapphite case back. At the back you will see its 18-carat pink gold oscillating weight and refined decoration and finishing. It delivers a power reserve of 70 hours.
Is it ultra-thin? A bit. The thickness of the watch is 9.3 millimeters, which is not really ultra-thin when it comes to a dress watch. However, given the complications of a moon phase and date by hand, it’s slim enough for an ultra-thin watch.
This Jaeger-LeCoultre comes on a blue alligator leather strap with interchangeable system and secured with a pink gold pink buckle.
