The HYT Hastroid Silver Red is the 9th variant of the Hastroid collection. It started in 2022 with Green Nebula and the HYT Hastroid Blue Star dates from 2023, and now this limited edition (15 pieces) in silver and red joins the club.
Just like the earlier versions it is 48 millimeters executed in a black coated and satin finished titanium case. And it’s thick, with 17.20 millimeters. But that’s not a surprise, HYT watches are always big so all the tech can be admired as clear as possible. The main tech is of course the capillary tube, with the retrograde hours. Fluid floats through the tube, more and more every hour, clearly in red, showing you the hours. Which eliminates difficulties with reading the time, as the fluids in the blue, or in this HYT Hastroid Rainbow, are les sparkling as the red here.
The HYT Hastroid Silver Red has a power reserve of 72 hours
The minutes are indicated with a hand, and there is a power reserve indicator between 2 and 3 o’clock. On the opposite of this are the small seconds. The movement is a hand-winding HYT caliber 501-CM. It beats at 4 Hz delivering a power reserve of 72 hours to push the fluid through the tube. And it is sand-blasted and satin-finished and has a black coating as well.
This latest HYT Hastroid Silver Red comes on a black rubber strap with black microfiber embossed decoration and red stitching. Secured with a pin buckle with black-coated titanium.
