The Christopher Ward C1 Moonglow 2024 is a subtle update of the 2019 C1 Moonglow version of the British brand, focused on the case. The edges are more flat, with a polished bezel. Furthermore, the lugs are bigger so there are no gaps between the bracelet and the case anymore. And lastly the crown is thicker.
The translucent glass dial has less changes. It features two moons to show the moon phase, and of course it shows hours, minutes, and seconds as well. The three-dimensional moons have increased amounts of super-luminova (Grade X1 WL C1) for more glow. The phase of the moon is at 12 o’clock, the other moon remains “clouded” through smoked glass. The date is indicated on the outer ring with a rotating ring that underlines the specific date.

Inside is a modified Sellita caliber SW220. The date wheel and spring-loading assembly is removed, four new wheels are added to drive the moons and adjusted setting mechanism. With the new moon phase module this Christopher Ward caliber JJ04 has a power reserve of 38 hours. The moon phase is accurate up to 128 years as long as you keep the watch winded.
The Christopher Ward C1 Moonglow 2024 comes on a black Vacona leather strap. For about 100 to 200 more you can get it on a steel consort bracelet as well.
